I love this picture ... Every girls dream to have their daddy give them away! I don't have a good one of during the wedding ... so the rehearsal will just have to do!!

We finally got our pumpkins carved on Wednesday night! First off, we have the famous Bevo ... then we have Mr. Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas! Last year, we carved a pumpkin into Jack, another character from TNBC ... and I just realized that I did not get a picture of it!

Bevo and Violet chilled while we cleaned, scraped, cut and carved the pumpkins!!

I decided to make pumpkins seeds ... and I'm sure glad I did! They turned out so good! Here I am showing off the amazing seeds ... and my new haircut!

Yum, Yum!

The Fine Print

Have you ever read the Fine Print of your job description?!

Well, somewhere in mine, it reads:
"When the Project Manager(which is my cousin) and his wife have somewhere to be, and the owner (uncle) and his wife (aunt) are busy or away, then you, the secretary, will be required to keep their offspring."

Sonny called me asked if I could his son for an hour at the office; they had a parent/teacher conference with their other son!! Of course, I said yes ... we had a blast!!
First, we played with Thomas the Train magnets!!

Watching videos of himself on Grandma's computer!

I have an amazing job!! hehe

Run, Lance, RUN!!

How convenient is it that the district cross country meet is in San Angelo!? So Nice! Elizabeth and I decided to go support Lance ... and might I say, We must have done an amazing job!!

Funny Story: We were talking to Lance (in his warm-ups and all) before the race ... and all of a sudden the starter-person blew his whistle! Lance panicked and ran to the starting line ... and not even 10 seconds later, the guy shot the gun to start the race!! Lance and 2 other guys were running and throwing shirts off at the same time!! Luckily, he shot the gun again, to stop the race!! I was so mad!! The starter didn't even talk to the group ... they usually say stuff like Let's have a nice clean race; if someone falls down, i will shot the gun and we will start over! Didn't say one word to them ... just started the race!! Poor Lance!!

Lance is the one with the white tights underneath his shorts!!
He is ready this time!!

Almost done!
Lance had an awesome race! He placed 3rd overall ... and over Wall!! Wall placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th! So obviously, they also placed 1st as a team! In all the previous races, Lance usually comes in 5th, 6th in Wall runners ... so today he beat 2 other boys that he had never beat before!! So Proud!!

Lance and his GF, Cassidy...
(showing off 2 pretty things!)

Liz, Lance and I
I come from such a talented family (i sure didn't get much of it) ... but I love to go watch/support my cousins!! Regionals is on November 8th ... and Bryan and I will be in Kerrville celebrating some birthdays that weekend! State is on Nov. 15th, and I already told Lance that if he makes it, God-willing I will be there!! Go, Lance!

I made this skirt a good 2 months ago ... and it ended up way to small for me! Elizabeth tried it, but yet still too small!! It was then passed on to Sarah ... it fits!!

LOOK!! How cute!!

This picture does not do justice on how cute it is ... I was just so excited that someone finally got to where it!!

Beautiful Boots

I have been wanting a pair of cowboy boots for over a year now! But being a flip flop girl, who doesn't spend more than $20 on a pair of shoes (and those are my on sale tennis shoes) ... it was really hard for me to spend over a hundred on a pair!

Bryan and I are wanting to take some westerny pictures this fall, so we decided it was time to find me some!! We caught them on sale, and I absolutely love them!!

The color of the inside (which no one ever sees) is a really pretty blue!

I never wear anything with a heel ...
So they will take some time getting used to!!

Fireproof

Yesterday, when Bryan got home from his hunting trip ... we went to Acdemy, Hastings and Wal-Mart for a couple of things!! Well, in Academy, we saw my parents, and they were headed to watch "Fireproof" ... so we joined them!

If you have seen this movie, then I am sure that you would agree with me .... that it is a wonderful love story!! If you have not seen this movie, stop what you are doing, call up your spouse (fiance) ... and set up a time to go watch this movie!! Seriously, you would benefit from it! Bryan and I already had a strong relationship ... but it had shown us places that we could improve!!

My favorite quote from the movie ...
"Fireproof doesn't mean the fire will never come. It means when the fire comes that you will be able to withstand it!"

Our Weekend In Pictures!

Bryan left Wednesday Morning for a 4-6th grade camp in Leaky, Texas. He went as the lifeguard. He gets absolutely no service in the area, so I did not get to talk to my hubby until he came home on Friday Afternoon!! He showed up at my office around 1:30PM on Friday(50 whole hours without talking to him) ...

with these B-E-A-UTIFUL Flowers ...

and a card that says,
"I'm Sorry ... For leaving you for such a long time."

and a Willow Tree!!

Thinking of You
Keeping you close in my thoughts!

Bryan has been looking at deer rifles for over a year ... and we finally found one that was the right gun and the right price!! The gun is used ... But, it looks brand new! We just got the "used" price!!

Checking out his newest toy!

It's Pretty!

Then, my wonderful husband took me to see a movie!! City of Ember was a book that I had read to my 4th graders when I was student teaching ... and I loved it!! Great book ... and a Great Movie!!

Sunday was filled with friends and football!! We watched those silly cowboys get beat in overtime against the cardinals at Makenzie's apartment with Brian, Liz and Sarah!

We are not sure what these guys did all day to get so worn out!!

Part Three - After the Game

Another collage of players and owner walking out of the stadium!!

One last picture of us and the field!!

I don't know who this man is ...
But Bryan wanted a picture with him!!

Bryan is sooo cool! hehe

Farewell Texas Stadium!

We made it back to our car right around 7PM! I don't think that I mentioned that we used my cousin's GPS on this trip ... it was fun (until now)! I put in our address, and it took forever to find a signal or where we were at! So finally, it says go north! So we are following the directions for maybe 5 minutes, and I figure out that something is not right .... from the stadium, we should be going directly west and southwest, NOT NORTH! So I tell Bryan to pull over! I zoom out on the map to see where the end result of this map was .... IT WAS IN KANSAS!! So I put in our address again ... and it did the same thing!! SO I put in my parent's house ... and it finally found it!!

Well, the GPS was also set for shortest distance ... instead of fastest time!! So, it took us through downtown Fort Worth!! It was 8:30PM when we were leaving Fort Worth ... An Hour and a half drive, which should have only taken us 30 minutes!!

Outside of Fort Worth, I began to drive! By Cisco, I could barely keep my eyes open, so we switched again!! Right after that, we hit some hard rain! In Ballinger, Bryan was exhausted, so I took over again! We finally got home around 12:45AM!! It was a crazy end ... to an amazing weekend!!

Part TWO - During the Game

By the time the game started, there were maybe 10 open seats!! It filled up so quick!! And the atmosphere was amazing!

Coin Toss ... They won it, so we kicked to them!

And let the game begin ...
The next play after kickoff, we intercepted the ball!! It was so exciting ... the crowd went crazy!! Everyone was giving high-fives!

Romo's first play of the game ...
We didn't score this run, but we did get a field goal!!

Every commercial break or time-out,
the cheerleaders would come on the field and dance!

In the Red Zone ...

Complete pass to Witten (who was standing in the end zone, waving his hands in the air because he was wide open) for a TOUCHDOWN!!!

Excited about seeing Witten's TD!!

Rowdy the Cowboy!!

During half time, they had Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders from the past! The 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's all had special dances to songs from their time!! It was an entertaining halftime ... So entertaining, that we watched all of it, then went to get something to eat and drink, and actually missed a little bit of the game!!

Just another photo opportunity!!

Romo did pretty well this game ...

And the final score is ...

The game was an ABSOLUTE Blast!! Bryan told me that he could get used to this whole thing! I said what whole thing! "Watching NFL Games Live!"

*Still More to Come!
