37 Weeks

Today, we are celebrating!

Today, marks the day that we are no longer carrying a premie ... but a FULL TERM baby!

We are now letting him know that he really can come anytime!

-I have definitely been experiencing braxton hicks. they usually come at night, but today i have felt them a lot!
-i bounce on my exercise ball quite often.
-i feel his hiccups extremely low ... which is good because it means he is staying low.
-he punches my bladder daily.

I have an appointment on wednesday afternoon ...
we are praying for more good news!!!

crafty idea.

i saw this online and had to try them out.

we made them for hostess gifts for our recent baby shower.

then there were 4 extra, so we made one for mom, dad, bryan and i.

i thought they turned out cute and very personal.

Friends Baby Shower

This past sunday we had yet another shower ... this one w/ paulann friends.

36 Week Appointment

This morning we had another appointment.

Weight: 25lbs. total gained

Blood Pressure: normal

Heartbeat: 142 bpm

Stomach measures 35 cm at 36 weeks. Perfect.

We did a GB test ... will get results back next time.

Also, I am dialted to a 1 (yeah)! She said baby is in a good position for vaginal delivery. She said everything looks great!

Next Appointment: Dec. 16th, 4PM

36 Weeks

-i am about 75% positive that i had some braxton hick contractions on saturday. they were in the middle of the night, and were not too intense. but still not wonderful.
-we had a combo baby class on saturday. infant basics/safety/prepared childbirth combined into one day. it was very informative. bryan and i both enjoyed it.

come on, brady ... it's great out here.

Beautiful Day

The rumor was that it was supposed to snow last night/early this morning ... but that doesn't always happen!

But what a beautiful sight to see when we got a call this morning at 6:30AM ... one of the cottage parents was calling Bryan to say school starts at 10AM!

I think this is the first time for Bevo and Violet to see snow ...
neither one was impressed!

One Month Until DUE DATE

We are so ready to meet this little guy! Even though it seems like I have been pregnant forever ... it has also flown by! I can not believe how close we are.

Some of the things we have done/are doing:
-my bags are packed for the hospital. on my bag, i have a list of the things it's missing. brady's bags are also packed. *Bryan bought me two new pair of very comfy pj's for the that special occasion.
-the carseat is in my car and installed.
-because the weather has been soo cold, i have not been able to walk like i normal do ... so i have decided to start walking the mall after work. praying the walking will eventually make me go into labor on my own.
-nursery is basically missing one thing: BABY!
-taking advantage of being just the two of us. we went to wal-mart the other night around 10:30PM, to get items that we needed/wanted ... just because we could. hehe
-making sure we have all the things we think we need for the first couple weeks after he is here.
-had some amazing maternity pictures taken to help remember this time in our life.
-every day i tell him how wonderful it is out here. and that he is welcome to make his appearance anytime after dec. 13th(full term/37 weeks)!!

Here's to the quickest december month ever!

Playing in the Leaves

In Kerrville, we did some raking of the leaves in Bryan's parent's front yard.

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas ...

Thanksgiving weekend, The Neal's usually put up the Christmas tree!

We gave each of the girls (neices) a glittery bell.

35 Weeks

This past week flew by ...

We went to Kerrville on Wednesday Evening, Thanksgiving Goodness on Thursday, and then the weekend.

Now, here we are at 35 Weeks ...

Only 2 Weeks until Full Term ...

5 Weeks until Due Date!

We are sooo ready!

When we got home today, I got in the Christmas mood. So we put up some decorations in the house!


Oh, how I love this time of year!

Dr. Appointment @ 34 Weeks

First stop: Weigh in.
Total Weight Gain: 22 lbs.

Blood Pressure: Great.

Heartbeat: 142bpm

He was moving almost the entire visit, so both nurse and doctor felt him moving!

Asked if I had any contractions ... I said i don't think so. She's hoping by the next appointment that i've had a couple practice contractions!

Dr. says baby is head down w/ his hiney on my upper right hand side.

Ok to travel this weekend for Thanksgiving and then no more.

Will see her again on Dec. 7th (2 weeks away) at 36 weeks ... she will start "checking" me and then we start going every week! Crazy!
