Happy Birthday, Dorothy!

Can you imagine being a leap year baby? Only having an "actual" birthday every four years? Yikes! Well, my friend (used to be boss) is!! This is her Sweet 16 year ... I got her an air freshener for her car! Bryan and I stopped by at lunch to say hi to her!

Who in Texas DOESN'T Love the Rodeo?

Last night, Bryan and I went to the rodeo with a our friends: Clint, Miranda, Darren and Charlotte! We had 2 first-timers ... I think they enjoyed themselves! Before the rodeo, I stopped by Target for a couple of items (batteries for my camera being one of them)! On our way to Darren's house, I find 5 batteries in my camera case ... Instead of being the smart person, I assume they are all good, and leave the brand new batteries in the car! It turns out that all of them were bad, and every time I tried to take a picture, my camera would say, "Empty Battery." I was so mad! I got a couple of pictures of us ... but none of the rodeo! Sad Day!

Clint and Bryan, waiting on the rodeo to start.
Darren decided he was too good for the picture!

Our 1st Rodeo as a married couple!
Gotta have pictures for all these first times ...

The Rodeo was Great! I mean everything a Texas Girl could ask for ... Horses, Cows, Cowboys, Husband in his cowboy outfit (quite Handsome husband, I might add), Clowns, Singing, Best Rodeo Announcer EVER, being w/ friends, etc. I could go on and on! One of the favorite parts: They had four generations of horses! They started with one horse that was like 24 Years old (I don't remember their names), then they brought out her daughter, and then her daughter, then finally the great granddaughter! Again, I wanted a picture of this, but NO ... I had to have a dumb moment! Anyways, it was amazing the similarities of them! They were beautiful!

After the rodeo, we finally went to eat! We did not have enough time to eat before the rodeo, so we had to starve through it! We decided on Logan's! We get there, seeing only 5 cars in the parking lot ... of course, Logan's closes at 10:00 on Thursday Night! Because it was a week night, nothing was open ... we finally found the faithful Rosa's! Yum Yum!!

Darren and Charlotte

Us at Rosa's.

To end our crazy, but wonderful night ... I realized that I lost one of my earrings! No telling where it fell out, but I lost it before the rodeo started! You can see in both of the pictures ... only one earring!

CHARLIE ...

This is one of those videos that you can watch over and over .... It actually gets funnier!! Enjoy!

Unexpected Lunch Guests

Bryan and I decided to go to Double Dave's because he had an appetite for pizza, and I wanted salad (ironically, the salad bar was empty when we got there)! As we were walking in, Joy, my friend with three kids under the age of 3, calls me! She wanted to have lunch, so I invited her ... My wonderful and amazing husband said OK! haha It was a blast! Here are some pics from our lunch!

Me and Joshua ... He is 2 months old today!
(Harsh lighting from the window)

Time for his close up! I am still trying to figure out who he looks like ...

Look, It's a Baby Girl!

We already knew she was a girl, but the important this is that she is here and healthy! Sidnee Layne Click is her name, and I can't wait to meet her! She arrived last night at 10:40PM! Everyone is doing well (except me because I am 12 hours away)! I got baby girls coming from all over the place!

Here is a picture of her and her proud Daddy, Jordan!
(Hope to get one of Joanna and Baby Sidnee soon.)

It's a ...

Yup, you guessed it ... Ryan and Marissa will be having a girl early July! Congrats to you two!!

Can you hear that noise? That's the sound of my dream going down the drain!! haha But you can't feel sorry for me because I got myself in this position! Bryan is really excited because this is how he wanted it to be ... and what can I say, I love to see my husband happy! Maybe my dream will come back with the second child!

Some Good News: My best friend, Joanna (Begnaud) Click is at the hospital right now as I type this blog! The Bad News: She is in Phoenix, Arizona!! She has been induced ... and now just waiting patiently for her baby girl to come into this world! She was actually supposed to be induced yesterday, but the hospital was really full ... so they said they would call! She had to wait all day for a phone call! They decided to induce this morning! Also, today is her actual due date!! Did you know that only 5% of women deliver on their due date? That's pretty neat!

What was I thinking?

Why do we say things before we think? I know everyone has heard, "Think, then Speak." It's not a hard concept! But still all of us at some point feel that regret within minutes. Let me start from the beginning.

I have this dream: After delivering our baby, the doctor will hand the baby to Bryan ... then he will hand the baby to me and tell me the gender. (we are not pregnant ... I figured I should add that in real quick). So unlike most of my friends and family members, I do not want to find out the gender of the baby at midterm. Bryan, on the other hand, wants to find out as soon as possible.

We compromised (like most married couples do) and decided that we would not find out on our first child, but could on the next! Well even though we are not prego, the topic still comes up! We discuss it, but still usually come to the same conclusion.

Bryan's twin brother and wife are expecting and were supposed to find out today what they are having, but the appointment was rescheduled for tomorrow.

Here is the regretful saying: "Hey Bryan, if Ryan and Marissa have a girl, then we can find out at midterm ... but if they are having a boy, we have to wait until the baby is born." Within minutes, I asked if I could take it back ... Bryan said, "NOPE." The reason that I said this is because both Bryan and Ryan want to have the first grandson. SO if they are having a girl, then I doubt Bryan will be about to wait until full term to find out what we are having!

I am praying for them to have a healthy baby, whether that is a boy or a girl. Ryan is supposed to call Bryan whenever they find out tomorrow morning ... it's crazy how that appointment is going to be big for both of us!!

Whoops?

This is what happens when you drop a treat in Bryan's Boots ...

What is this creature?

This is my sweet Violet with a mohawk after her bath!
Doesn't she look silly? (that's the nice word.)
Look at how different she looks!
I think dry and fluffy is her best look.

First Valentine's Day ... with a Husband!

I have never experienced a Valentine's Day with a husband before! I must admit ... it was wonderful! We did not plan ahead, so no reservations were made ... but we decided to fight the crowd at Chili's! We joined our friends, Blake and Sarah, for supper and then some live music at Blaine's Pub! Blake works with Bryan at the Boy's Ranch, and we are neighbors! Here are pictures from us at Chili's! Hope all of you had a Blessed Valentine's Day!

Bevo ... Officially a "Ranch Dog"

You might ask, "What makes him an Official Ranch Dog now?" My reply would be, "He fell out of the pick-up truck yesterday!" Hopefully he learned his lesson! Bryan and I took Bevo and Violet down to the river at the Boy's Ranch yesterday aftertoon ... because it was a beautiful day! Bryan was going maybe 20 mph, but Bevo just leaned forward too much! We pulled to the side of the road and stopped the truck! I got out and called Bevo to me ... he had this confused look on his face, and limped over to me! I checked his leg, but didn't see anything! Later on, we found that he had scraped it up pretty good! Bryan and I are not doctors ... but we tried our best to clean it up! The hair on his back legs are think ... so we decided to trim the hair around the wound! He was still limping on it this morning ... we think bending his leg hurts him! Here are some pictures of the occasion!

Being a Good Boy ... Violet couldn't figure out why Bevo was whinning!

Bryan and Bevo with his bandaged knee (which did not stay on very long)!

The Wound!

He is so sweet ... Laying in the bathroom this morning while I got ready!

The Harlem Globe Trotters

So this is something I wanted to post on last week ... KLST called the Boy's Ranch and said they had 10 tickets to the Globe Trotters! Since Bryan (by himself) is only supposed to be in control of 8 boys, do the math ... 8 boys + 1 Bryan = 9 tickets! Yea, one extra one for ME! haha Anywaz, I had never seen them before, so I was really excited about it! They lived up to their name in my eyes ... Everything was soo good! Pictures aren't that great ... but they show some stuff!!

How low can you go? I can't go that low!!

The Washington Generals

They ended with a football play ...
