Nothing Today!

But this weekend is bound to be exciting ... and on Tuesday, there will be pictures!!

- James, Letitia and Family are coming down this weekend with their 3 kids plus new baby, Aiva!!

-Trey, Heather and Baby Abi will be coming in this weekend, also!! Two new baby girls in one weekend ... I hope I can contain myself! Can you feel the excitment through the blog?

- Labor Day = Day OFF!! Three day weekend w/ the hubby (also known as Coach Neal from student teaching) and family!! Monday is also opening DoVE SeasOn!! I LOVE this time of year!! I am not much a hunter ... they call me the 'Bird Dog', and I am proud of it!!

Can you tell that it has been a dead week in the Neal Household?!

Bryan started back to school at ASU on Monday! He got Mertzon like we wanted! Today is his first full day at the school ... I even packed his lunch for him this morning!! He will have a couple of the boys from the ranch in his classes ... that should be interesting!!

This past weekend, the West Texas Boys Ranch had a Cademon's Call concert! It was excellent! We really enjoyed the opener, Randall Goodgame! All in all, it was an awesome concert with lots of jamming out!

I could tell stories about Bevo, Violet and Cash ... But I will save those for a rainy day!

I think I am better off just signing off ... and wishing everyone a WOnderful THursday!! :)

Five Fav Friday

So it's been kind of a slow week!! If this begins to bore you at any time, Click the Red 'X' at the right-hand top of this screen!

1. Congrats to Marcus and Anna!! They will be blessed with a little GIRL in December! Girls are awesome! I am so excited for you, two!!!

2. As of right now, we have three weddings to attend for next spring/summer! Bryan will be in 2 of them! Bryan was asked to be a groomsman at Darren and Charlotte's March wedding; and He was also asked to be an usher at Danny and Kelsey's April wedding! Yeah, I love wedding ... and On top of that, I love seeing my hubby all dressed up!! :)

3. I get these in my email every day!! A great way to smile first thing in the morning!! I tell Bryan that we should have a "Calvin"!! hehe

4. After making Landry's blanket for her birthday, I have begun to think of more things that I can make! I think home-made gifts are special ... especially time-consumed ones! I have Christmas coming up ... and I am already thinking of many things I can make for family members!! I will keep you updated on how all this is going!!

5. Summer is over, and School begins! I am so glad it's finally here ... Even though Bryan is not really excited about it, I know that he will have a good experience! Both of us are praying for December to come quick!!

Happy Birthday Landry!

Today is my Landry's 3rd Birthday!

Back a couple of months ago, I started thinking what we would get Landry for her birthday! Landry is in a "Princess" stage right now (as you can see by the previous post)! But for some reason, I did not want to get her a toy or clothes! So while, I was in a fabric store during my sewing craze (still there, just saving up for a sewing machine) ... I had the idea to make her a fleece no-sew blanket! This would be her blanket ... she would not have to share this like most of the rest of her stuff! And to prove that it was her's, I asked my aunt to mongram it with her name!

With all the princess crowns, wands, shoes and dresses, etc. ... Landry could have cared less about the blanket! (It was actually a hit with the adults ... some one tired to put in an order for their son!!) But I do know that someday it will be special to her!

Princess-Filled Weekend

We kicked off this weekend with a "Going-Away" Party! One of my cousins is going to college in Chicago! Our plan was to stop by, say Hi and Bye, then hit the road to Round Rock! Well, I should have known better ... Everybody wants to know how we are, what we up to, how's the boy's ranch life, etc. (I guess they don't read my blog!) We left there around 7:30PM and were in Round Rock by 11PM!

On Saturday Morning, we woke up early to go to a UT Fan Appreciation in Austin! A bunch of the players and Mack Brown stick around after practice for autographs! Ryan, Bryan and I got in line about 8:15AM! We received bracelets, and our seats around 10:45AM! We were then able to leave ... We went to Academy and the Co-op to grab a couple of things! It was about 2:05PM that we finally got signatures from the players! Now, this is not really my type of thing ... I like UT, but I don't really care for their autographs! Well, each person is allowed 2 things to be signed! Bryan had THREE things he wanted ... (1.) A Football for Ricky at the Ranch(Bryan did a work out program this summer, and Ricky came every single day!), (2.) A helmet with UT logos for himself, and (3.) a football for his office! The wonderful wife that I try to be decided that I would do this him (and try to keep the complaining at a minimum)!! The final products turned out really cool ... and I know Ricky is going to be very excited about his gift!

Saturday, we drove into Kerrville just in time for Pizza, Lasagna and some amazing french bread for supper!! I got to see my sweet girls (all three of them)!! I seriously have the most beautiful nieces ... and Two Thumps Up for Bella who says, "SUSAN" so wonderful now!! I love it!

Church on Sunday was amazing ... and I'm not just talking about the sweet girl that I got to hold!!

The boys playing 'Bocce Ball'! Anyone ever heard of it? You throw a small yellow ball anywhere ... then try and throw your ball, so that it lands closer than your opponent! These two had fun playing it ... Bryan even wants to get a set!

A Great Lunch

This morning, Dad helped Bryan put new Brakes on his truck!! They were getting bad! Jill came, and we had a yummy lunch!!

Sting Pong

Monday Night, the cousins met at Andrew's for faijtas, Olympics & Games! The food was Great ... The Olympics were Amazing ... But the best part of all was the games! We were walking out the door to go home, when Andrew asked Bryan to stay for some Sting Pong! (that is not a mis-spelling!) They played doubles ... and whenever you messed up, the other team hit the ball as hard as they could at your back! They decided to play shirts-on ...

Rough Week

So apparently when I signed up to help at VBS @ Paul-Ann Baptish Church ... 6-9 Monday -Friday sounded great!! It wasn't until Monday that it clicked ... I am working 8-5, then going to VBS from 6-9, then driving kids home, then driving myself home ... not getting to bed until 11, 11:30! It's going to be a long week!!

I made it though ... barely! It was exhausting, and I decided that if I help next year that I am going to take a couple of days off from work!!

So over the weekend, I rested by taking it easy and pampering myself! Right now, I am trying to grow my hair out! So since I can't do anything cute with my hair, I decided to highlight it!

Free Magazines

So last week, I received this magazine in the mail! Bryan, right away, was like "Why did you order this magazine?" I told him that I did not order it ... they were just sending it to me free! Well on saturday, I recieved another one!

Issues July & August

Yesterday, I received Septembers issue that was in a package with this Fashion mag!
So, my question is: Is this weird? Do any of your recieve random magazines every once in awhile!? I know that I did not order this or sign up to recieve it ... I have never heard of Lucky!

So, we think that Cash might be a girl ... whoops! Supposedly, some cats you can't tell for awhile! So we are waiting it out! If HE is a SHE, then we will call her 'June Bug Neal'!

Fun-Filled Day

*Let's start with last night ... Bryan went to a Junior Rodeo with the boys, and I stayed at home! About 10 o'clock I was getting into bed to see if there was anything on TV ... I pulled the covers back and got comfy! Then I felt a horrible pain!! I threw the covers off ... and there was a RED WASP in my bed! I started crying as I called my husband ... he could barely understand me! Luckily, he was on his way home! I called my mom and asked what to put on it ... couldn't find anything! Luckily, it only stung for a good 5 minutes! I know that doesn't sound very long ... but trust me, it was bad!*

Bryan took today off, so we took advantage of it and had ourselves a date! Bryan started off his day by cleaning out his office (I know, one of the not cool things about living where you work)! We had good ole' Bonsai Garden for lunch! Always Great! Then, for our activity ... we went to play BINGO! Oh, it was so fun! So we walked in, and they have this electronic thing ... it keeps up with 66 cards for you! So you are thinking, wow 66 cards ... that's pretty good odds! But then you look around, and some people have 2 electronic handhelds! AND the guy behind us had 4 ... but then again, we think he spend about $200 or more and didn't win any! So, we are looking around trying to figure stuff out ... and this guy walks up to us and says, "Is this your first time?" I said, "Yeah, do we have clueless written over our foreheads?" He explained everything to us ... We had 3 more people ask us if we needed any help! Everyone was so nice there! SO even, though we never won (oh so close many times) ... we still had a blast and would love to go back again!!

This evening, Bryan had a bachelor party to attended ... so I called the girls of the group! We got together at Cheddars for some supper and dessert ... and a whole lot of girly talk/laughter!! Then we went to Elizabeth's for games! We played ImagineIf ... fun game! I love that the wives/fiance's of Bryan's friends and I can have a wonderful time together ... without the boys!!

Happy Friday

1. On Tuesday, Bryan and I had some of our cousins over for some Family Fun! We ate spaghetti, playing Mario Cart on Wii, swam for a little bit, and watched some untamed animals on TV! We also had fun while Bevo and Violet got used to Cash!
   
2. On Wednesday, I went to a meeting for VBS at Paul-Ann! I am excited to finally get involved and help out with their children's ministry! So all, next week ... I will be there from 6-9 (probably earlier and later than those official hours)!!
   
3. I have started the hands & feet of Jesus by Kevin Reynolds! Kevin, along with Rachel Beaver, found House of Faith! I love to read, but have put many books on hold! Hopefully this one will be a fast read!
   
4. I finished Landry's Birthday present yesterday! I wanted to post a picture of it, but Kristi would throw a fit! Her birthday is August 19th, so I will share pictures after her party!!
   
5. Bryan and I are starting the "dating" thing again! It's my turn, and I have something fun planned for saturday! Pictures to come on Monday!!
