Happy Birthday, Dorothy!
Who in Texas DOESN'T Love the Rodeo?
Clint and Bryan, waiting on the rodeo to start.
Darren decided he was too good for the picture!
Our 1st Rodeo as a married couple!
Gotta have pictures for all these first times ...
The Rodeo was Great! I mean everything a Texas Girl could ask for ... Horses, Cows, Cowboys, Husband in his cowboy outfit (quite Handsome husband, I might add), Clowns, Singing, Best Rodeo Announcer EVER, being w/ friends, etc. I could go on and on! One of the favorite parts: They had four generations of horses! They started with one horse that was like 24 Years old (I don't remember their names), then they brought out her daughter, and then her daughter, then finally the great granddaughter! Again, I wanted a picture of this, but NO ... I had to have a dumb moment! Anyways, it was amazing the similarities of them! They were beautiful!
After the rodeo, we finally went to eat! We did not have enough time to eat before the rodeo, so we had to starve through it! We decided on Logan's! We get there, seeing only 5 cars in the parking lot ... of course, Logan's closes at 10:00 on Thursday Night! Because it was a week night, nothing was open ... we finally found the faithful Rosa's! Yum Yum!!

Us at Rosa's.
To end our crazy, but wonderful night ... I realized that I lost one of my earrings! No telling where it fell out, but I lost it before the rodeo started! You can see in both of the pictures ... only one earring!

What was I thinking?
I have this dream: After delivering our baby, the doctor will hand the baby to Bryan ... then he will hand the baby to me and tell me the gender. (we are not pregnant ... I figured I should add that in real quick). So unlike most of my friends and family members, I do not want to find out the gender of the baby at midterm. Bryan, on the other hand, wants to find out as soon as possible.
We compromised (like most married couples do) and decided that we would not find out on our first child, but could on the next! Well even though we are not prego, the topic still comes up! We discuss it, but still usually come to the same conclusion.
Bryan's twin brother and wife are expecting and were supposed to find out today what they are having, but the appointment was rescheduled for tomorrow.
Here is the regretful saying: "Hey Bryan, if Ryan and Marissa have a girl, then we can find out at midterm ... but if they are having a boy, we have to wait until the baby is born." Within minutes, I asked if I could take it back ... Bryan said, "NOPE." The reason that I said this is because both Bryan and Ryan want to have the first grandson. SO if they are having a girl, then I doubt Bryan will be about to wait until full term to find out what we are having!
I am praying for them to have a healthy baby, whether that is a boy or a girl. Ryan is supposed to call Bryan whenever they find out tomorrow morning ... it's crazy how that appointment is going to be big for both of us!!
