It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas ...

Thanksgiving weekend, The Neal's usually put up the Christmas tree!

We gave each of the girls (neices) a glittery bell.

35 Weeks

This past week flew by ...

We went to Kerrville on Wednesday Evening, Thanksgiving Goodness on Thursday, and then the weekend.

Now, here we are at 35 Weeks ...

Only 2 Weeks until Full Term ...

5 Weeks until Due Date!

We are sooo ready!

When we got home today, I got in the Christmas mood. So we put up some decorations in the house!


Oh, how I love this time of year!

Dr. Appointment @ 34 Weeks

First stop: Weigh in.
Total Weight Gain: 22 lbs.

Blood Pressure: Great.

Heartbeat: 142bpm

He was moving almost the entire visit, so both nurse and doctor felt him moving!

Asked if I had any contractions ... I said i don't think so. She's hoping by the next appointment that i've had a couple practice contractions!

Dr. says baby is head down w/ his hiney on my upper right hand side.

Ok to travel this weekend for Thanksgiving and then no more.

Will see her again on Dec. 7th (2 weeks away) at 36 weeks ... she will start "checking" me and then we start going every week! Crazy!

34 Weeks

-I can not walk in Wal-Mart w/o having at least half of the people ... look at my belly, then smile at me! hehe it's so cute
-When they ask how much longer ... I say a month and a half ... they look at my belly ... then say, "you are sooo tiny!" When you feel far from tiny, this makes me feel good.
-Isn't the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas the fastest time of the year!? Due date is basically right around the corner.
-Baby Neal thinks it's funny when he pushes from the inside really hard ... I push him back in, then he pushes back. I think he thinks it's a game we play ... but i want to cry more than laugh usually!
-We still count kicks. I usually count them in the morning, right when i wake up ... he moves a lot then. Most of the time, he moves throughout the day ... these days we don't count in the evening. But if he has been a little calmer, we will both count kicks in the evening!! I am loving my cocca butter creamy lotion these days!!
-lots of hiccups. about one set a day now.

3 weeks until baby neal is considered "full term" and only 6 weeks until due date! :)

Wall Church Shower & More

While we were being showered, Bryan was playing in a softball tourney!

So afterwards, I went and watched him play at 2pm. They won, so they played again at 3 ... and so on, every hour on the hour until 9pm with only one 20 minute break! it was a long and cold afternoon/evening! They ended up playing 8 games in 12 hours! They placed 2nd and got their entry fee back ... so that was nice!

Showers Gifts

When you have 19 hostesses for your church shower, who has the money to buy them all a nice gift to say thank you!!

So my mom was nice enough to help me make them all some goodies!

Bryan even helped me stamp the thank you tags to put on each set of goodies!

We made over 200 millionaires!! They were sooo yummy!

33 Weeks

-Still feeling really good!
-the skin from my belly button to the top of my stomach feels like it has already been stretched beyond what it can stand. it hurts to the touch. we rub lotion on it every evening, hoping that will help.
-he is a very strong baby ... his kicks and punches to my side are not pleasant. though it makes me happy to feel him moving all around in side of me. I think i will miss his movements the most about pregnancy.
-he has had the hiccups three more times in the past two weeks.
-i am so ready to meet this little guy.

Decorating Cupcakes for a Party

Landry and Bella got to help decorate the cupcakes for Bella's b-day party, which was on Sunday ... which i got no pictures of (but it was a lot of fun)!!

Our 1st Baby Shower - Kerrville

On Bryan, Ryan, Bella and Violet's Birthday ...
we had our very first baby shower in Kerrville, Texas with Bryan's family and friends.

We had it in the backyard of Ryan/Marissa's home ...
and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful!

Look at all these goodies!

We found a cute poem that was included with all the invitations ... it talked about how cards are nice, but only read once, and to include a message in a book that we can read to baby over and over again.

We came home with all kinds of goodies...
including diapers, wipes, a couple very cute outfits, lots of books, basket fulls of necessities, and horsie for our cowboy ... and even five boxes of hand-me-down clothes from Anna's friend!

I hope we can fit everything in our house! One shower down, and things are already getting crowded!

after we take our walks (bevo actually runs the entire time) ... bevo is extremely tired.

so every once in awhile, we run some cool bath water ... and he comes and jumps in (without us telling him anything) and lays down!
